Weekend Play

I wanted to practice my Nina Knots on the weekend so grabbed some beads and set off without a plan. While there are some design faults I had a lot of fun and was really happy with both the speed and quality improvement of the knots - and catch. A friend wanted to buy the necklace yesterday - I said no, wore it today and will wrap it up for her birthday! What fun.

Beautiful piece of jewellery Julie. You sure are very talented as Doreen said. How nice that someone wanted to buy this piece (and moreso that you are giving to them as a present). You are a very generous and talented soul.

Wow Julie,
You've certainly been busy and you've definitely mastered the Nina knot, what a great piece. I loved the retreat but unfortunately it goes so quickly, and we're so busy in our workshops that you don't get to meet everyone. Thank heaven for blogs and the Yahoo group, at least we can communicate after the event.

beautiful necklace, you have done a fantastic job. I still haven't had a chance to play but now have my dremel and found some copper wire (in Bunnings with the picture hooks etc) but not the annealed - yet LOL. I think I should put my hand up for the charm swap....I have a few ideas already LOL.
