A bit presumptuous?

I couldn't wait to play with my new goodies and made this piece last night - a RAK which will wing its way to a friend soon. The presumption? Well, I have called this piece Earthly Secrets ... is it a bit, ummm...'over-the-top' for a beginning artist to name her work? It seemed to want this name as I was choosing the jasper and winding the silver nickel.

Absolutely not over the top Julie! The first thing I thought of when I saw the zips was what "unearthly secrets" they display when unzipped!!!! hahahahaha.... Love it!

You are not a beginning artist!! You ARE an artist, and not presumptious at all. Everyone (but me!) seems to name all their artwork. I think the zipper pulls are perfect on this bracelet and the name fits.

Oh my goodness , what an amazing imagination you have. The zip pulls are such an unusual addition for a bracelet and are very deserving of the chosen name. May you continue to be blessed with such inventive ideas over your Easter break. Take care and stay creative from Charmaine :-)xx

Julie, my talented friend...this is a WONDERFUL piece and I know your friend will love it!

And I agree with everyone else you ARE an artist! And naming your work is a beautiful thing.

Liked Kelsey's interpretation of the zips too!

The jasper and silver work beautifully together.

You have really found you niche Julie. You are TERRIFIC at jewelery.

And such an inspiration (and a love) to me.

It's a great piece and well desrves a name. I think it is not over the top for any one to give their pieces of art a name, regardless of experience. All are creations (and just like children) we name them, nuture them and then send them off into the world. I think you are truly talented. Ux
