Happy New Year

One of the high lights of 2009 was my time at Creative Soul Retreat held in Melbourne earlier in the year, the house swap was a lot of fun. Finally I have about 2/3rd's of my houses mounted on this 12 x 12 canvas for my classroom wall. I am sure it will intrigue my students.
Another art high light was the 12 Days of Christmas Swap help on Aust Art Sisters. I had no idea I would be so excited by opening a gift every day. Pictures are some of the wonderful items I received. I took the photo a day early and some decorations were already in use.
Happy New Year everyone, may you be blessed with peace and health.

I love how you've displayed your little houses, reminds me of that game with the ball that just rolls down and you try to get it in different holes! Must do something with my houses, need to get them out of their little bag they live in. Happy New Year to you Julie! ;-)

I'm catching up, Julie -- and at home, so the dial-up is killing me and I'm going to comment on three posts in this one.

First, I adore the "house" idea -- I love making them and seeing them all together like this is just terrific! What a "Wow!" And all your gifties are terrific!

And I loved following you on your relaxing day -- as relaxed as that beautiful cat, I think!

Finally, I had many smiles at the expense of poor Archer and Prada! I'm not sure I could have let Prada go home! They're both so sweet! Is Archer a King Charles? They're dear!

Happy New Year, Julie! I promise to be a more timely visitor very soon!

What a fantastic idea to display the little houses like that. I am guilty I still have mine to do. Yes it is on the UFO's list and the list is growing smaller. I do hope you are coming to CSR again this year and would love to catch up and have a coffee.

Thanks for your kind words on my blog too.

Hugs Elizabeth
