What a week!

Thank you so much to everyone who left kind comments on the last post. Unofficially I have heard my car is a right off but still no paperwork, and it seems to have consumed a lot of time in the past week. I am so blessed to have Mum's car now for up to a month if I need it.
It seems that once again the only haven from the busyness of life has been my art room.
I stepped away from my usual colours for the top junk pin and enjoyed the experience.
This one is more muted, but oddly it wasn't until I named them for Etsy, 'fairytale' (or escape) and 'peace' that I realised they were actually therapy - constructed prayers for my life.

Love your new junk pins Julie - those bright colours are beautiful!

Hope you are feeling much better after your accident. Lovely that you are able to borrow your mums car... we are so lost without our wheels especially when you live in an area where there is no public transport.

Hi Julie, So glad to hear you are ok and your artistic talents have in no way been effected. I love those colourful trinkets adorning that pin. Art is truly a blessed release from everyday life and even if we are not able to create, we can still be filled with joy by looking at others amazing creations. Thank you for sharing your beautiful art with us. Lots of inky hugs from Charmaine xx :-)

Hey Julie, Dneese from the Creative Soul group. Don't you think all art is a kind of therapy in a way? Funny how stuff is created and THEN we realize the inner significance of what we just did... love the pins, they are so delicate. Hope you sell heaps.
