A little whimsy

For some reason I have managed to photograph the tassels on this piece true to colour and yet the canvas seems lighter, perhaps it is the layers of paint and gel letting in light. This was a fun piece which will turn up at a friend's house in the weeks to come.

Thank you for all your kind support, the car is still missing and if it remains so until Thursday then the insurance will come into play and I can begin to look for another one. I lost my mojo for a week there and was quite blue, but I am back focussing on the good, on the wonderful sunshine filled summer, my amazing friends and yes even my little 'not' guard dog.

Must have been when all our mojos went on a rostered week off. Think my mojo is back now too.

That piece looks like guerilla art piece...

Oh it's great! Love it from the curled hair on top to the tassels! The deep burgundy and black are great colors. ...and it makes a good statement too.

My dog is a NOT gaurd dog too. She would hide at the sign of trouble!

Love this piece Julie. Lot of interesting colors and textures. Am sure your friend will love it.

And I love you too.

Can totally understand you losing your mojo after having your car stolen. Very upsetting (and inconvenient).

The kitties and I send our love and Ronnie keeps asking when Aunty Julie is coming to stay!!

Your passing the test with flying colours dear gal and know that no matter what happens around you, ther will always be friends and loved ones ready to support you.
