What a difference a day makes...

Archer here, Mum has been a bit busy so I thought I would have a bit of a chat. especially since things have changed, I don't like change, I don't.
Every day I rush outside and have a munch on the special grass, Mum poured some old bird seed out and it has sprouted beautifully, I get lots of fresh veg (and no I don't have worms) but I really like this grass.
Sometime I get in trouble because I forget and leave by walking over the snowdrops, but that is OK... she does not stay cross long.
Today I trotted beside Mum eager to help hang out the washing, but thought I would have a little nibble of my grass first.
I was shocked! Bobby was in MY grass. I was not pleased to see him.
Some people were! They fussed and said how nice it was HE had come out of hibernation, and would HE like a strawberry? A strawberry? He already had MY grass.
I tried to be brave, I barked and growled, I sniffed and snorted, but he did not move.
We looked at each other out of the corner of our eyes.
Slowly, very slowly, Bobby turned his back on me, casually moved under the spiky plant, giving me one last look before the leaves rustled and he was gone.
I have my grass back, but it is not the same, I don't think it will be the same again.

Oh Archer
I don't like it when a visitor is in my grass-I am glad that you kept your dignity and just did the growl bark thing!!!!!

Archer, you write the cutest posts when your mum is busy! And you are so phtogenic....quite handsome.

I understand your frustration about Bob coming into your grassy area but it's very nice to share things. I'm sure he didn't eat much and he did leave so you could enjoy it. He's just a friend stopping by to visit and check up on you. I promise he won't take your place in your mum's heart!

Archer, you were very polite. If it had been my Milo that had seen Bobby, he wouldn't have been so nice. He thinks it is his job to eradicate snakes, even nice ones.

Archer - you always make me laugh! Thanks for keeping us entertained while your mama was busy.

I can understand why you were upset that Bobby was in YOUR grass! How cheeky of him. And he has a LOT of atttitude for a lizard I think.

Must say you are looking particularly handsome in your photo's. You are a lovely boy.

Much love from
