My beautiful friend Sandy sent me a package of vintage wall paper and other goodies last week. What she did not know was that for many years I had a dream of becoming a wall paper designer - and felt that I had been born in the wrong era (very little wall paper is used here in Australia).
You may remember I hosted a charm swap through my blog. Most people have received their charms now so I can show the amazing results here. Do you see that Kim made me a copper bracelet to hang charms on? And I did not know you could print onto shrink plastic. The soldered and beaded piece in the middle right is by Grant - yeah to having a male participant, along with his wife Charmaine. If you would like to know more about any of the charms just ask.

Love the charms Julie. All of them are fabulous. Love that lots of them have Nina type knots. Your canvas's are sensational and gifts just what you need to give you a bit of a lift after such a rotten few days. Take care my friend, thinking of you. Natxx
holy moley what rich eye candy - WOW! From the canvases to the pendant all of this art is spectacular! All those charms are so diverse and looking at them I can't help think "now how'd they do that?"
Thank you for sharing all of this!

hi Julie, so sorry for your loss. It must be terribly hard missing him so and coming to terms with it. I remember when we had to put our guinea pig down because she was stung by an insect, i was balling my eyes out. Thinking of you and sending lots of love.
What a lovely eye candy feast Julie! Love your final canvas and Kelly's that were done for the swap. I really like what they have done. Both pieces look very textural.
Love the wallpaper from Sandy and the charms she sent. Packages and art from Sandy are such a treat aren't they?
Thanks so much for running the charm swap. I really enjoyed taking part and loved each charm I receieved. Have had lots of comments on the charms already (they are on a necklace that Kim sent to me a while back with charms from another swap).
Sending much love to you
Dotee xoxo
