In a day full of outings, friends, and yes some furry people, this Magpie took the time to pose. I took a whole series of photos as he twisted and turned on this 3m pole angled into the back lawn.

Beautiful photo Julie. Really lovely. It's funny I saw some Magpies on my morning walk this morning and I thought of you. I was smiling as they ran across a park on their little feet. And stood and watched them for a while, listening to them wardle.
Such a beautiful Australian sound.
