Somehow I kept going, painted backgrounds, fabric from the old peg bag, and delicious buttons, each one a source of delight as it was selected from my stash. The end result a handful of little books. I have kept a couple for friends, the rest are now for sale on my etsy.

What wonderful little notebooks Julie! Man, those Collections products are so cool aren't they!
simply delightful Julie from one proud Collections collector LOL
These are so so cute Julie! Love them...I was looking at your Etsy. I recently bought three or four of those same little antique bisque heads from a lady on Ruby Lane. Mine are painted, but I was surprised to see yours here...I think she said mine were made by Hertwig though...who knows? Very cute but have no idea what I'll do with them yet.
Keep creating!
always sublime art here, you are the Queen of Creativity
Your notebooks are gorgeous Julie ; and you know how much I love buttons!
Did my first batch of dyeing last Friday and thought of you. Had lots of fun and dyed buttons and fabric. Loved how the buttons turned out and the fabric too.
Ronnie and Essie say hello.

I love to check in on where your creativity has taken you.
Cheers!
I love the new notebooks! What a great way to use buttons and the mother's day piece is adorable.
Your blog is terrible for me - I went over to etsy to have a closer look at those notebooks (and maybe buy one) and then I end up with a bracelet, too... :)
These notebooks are simply wonderful. I would have difficulty choosing a favorite. All are stunning!

Your blog and your work are lovely! I especially love these notebooks... very cute. I'll be back for more. Have a great week.
Fabulous note books Julie, I know the feeling, I'm never one to waste paint and suddenly a whole new work (that has to be finished), gets started.
These are terrific -- I'm not sure which I love most -- the frame or those very cute journals!
These jerounals are simply fabulous! In size, it immediately reminded me of an incredibly precious artist trading card. Fabulous work!
